Client is king, yeah, I can agree with that, but on the other hand, you should be very careful when picking who you want to work with, especially if you’re a beginner. There are so many of those who can’t wait to take advantage of inexperienced freelancers who would even work for free just to have something to put in their portfolio. That might be a good idea and a stepping stone but most certainly isn’t a way to build your career in the long run.
