Cebu, Philippines — Coca-Cola’s Happiness on Demand (HOD) delivery service is now available in Cebu, following a recent expansion. Cebuanos in Cebu City, Mandaue, Talisay, Lapu-lapu, Consolacion, and Liloan can now order their favorite Coca-Cola products via call or through SMS and have refreshment delivered straight to their doorsteps.
This expansion aligns with Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines, Inc.’s commitment to remain attuned to changing consumer demands and needs, and continuously roll out responsive and quality services. With the shift of consumption patterns due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Coca-Cola strengthened its digital and home service business models to better serve and reach its customers—thus making Coca-Cola products even more accessible to more consumers.
“Because of the restrictions due to COVID-19—how it has changed the landscape of the market and consumer behavior considering public health measures—we need to be innovative in serving our customers to ensure their safety and to further minimize risks to their health, especially now with stricter quarantine measures in place.” says Carol Dimaano, Home and Office Delivery Manager of Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines, Inc.
She adds, “Our commitment is to continuously improve our services for our customers, and our Happiness on Demand (HOD) service is a testament to this. We want to provide our consumers the ease of having Coke products brought straight to their homes.”
In 2020, Coca-Cola’s commitment was to expand the reach of its Happiness On Demand (HOD) delivery service. Before the Cebu expansion, HOD had only been available in Luzon, spanning Nueva Ecija to Metro Manila to Batangas.
The service coverage expansion in Cebu was launched through a partnership with MB Distributor Ltd. Co., and Dimaano shares that there are plans to further increase HOD’s logistics capacity and add drop-off points of delivery.
“The pandemic challenged us to quickly pivot and recalibrate our services in order to attend to our partners and customers,” adds Dimaano. “We are excited that our HOD service now caters to Cebu, and we hope Cebuanos enjoy having Coca-Cola in their households in a more convenient way.”
