New Dishes at Almont Resorts Worth The Try

Being a leader in the hotel and accommodation industry in the Caraga region, Almont Resorts always aims to give its customers the best experience as possible. The group recently acquired Executive Chef Victor Barangan. With over 18 years of experience in the culinary world, Chef Vic as what his colleagues call him started rehashing the menus in the Almont chain of hotels and resorts. 

Below are some of the new addition to the menus of Manay Maling’s, Magallanes Bar, Gemelli, and City Cafe. This new set of dishes are a must-try, trust me, they will totally change your dining experience.

Manay Maling’s Restaurant

Pacman – deep-fried pig face accompanied with Atsara and Green Mangoes.
Pho Chero – Vietnamese-style pochero with rice noodles, mint, basil, Japanese cucumber and micro greens
Balut Tempura – balut sa puti coated with tempura batter with rock honey sauce, sriracha and mayonnaise

Salted Egg ala Kiev – breaded chicken with salted egg, white wine sauce, mashed sweet potato and coco milk
Grilled Squid and Fern Salad – Paco ferns with guava dressing, olive oil, and  grilled fresh squid, chickpeas
Crabby Patty – Surigao soft-shell crabs, multigrain brioche with papaya slaw and micro arugula

Pecan Caramel Rum Cake – Rum cake, pecans, dulce de leche, walnuts and dates.
Cheese Cake Truffles – Cream cheese, cookie crumbs and ube tuile.
Bucket Halo Halo – snow ice, macapuno, beans, ube, langka, leche flan with ice cream and coated cones

Magallanes Bar

Brazzo Shake – Brazzo de Mercedes, vanilla ice cream, custard, cookie crumbs, caramel and honeycomb
Brownie Lava Shake – Chocolate cake, brownie, fudge, cereals, chocolate ganache,
Watermelon Daiquiri – Fresh watermelon with white rum, simple syrup, and calamansi juice
