There are many places that you can visit here. However, Osborne should be at the top of the list. This is Queen Victoria’s palace and it can be found at the seaside. The palace has its own private beach and during summer you can watch various entertainments there.
Talking about the beach, there are many hotspots that you must visit. If you want some peace and quiet, you should head over to Compton Bay. This place is also an educative experience, as you will be able to see footprints made by dinosaurs 25 million years ago. If that is not enough for you, Compton Bay also has hidden fossils, and if you manage to find one you can head over to Dinosaur Isle so you can get it identified.
The Museum of Island History is another popular local attraction. You can find it inside Guildhall and it is next the local tourist information center, that can be useful as well. The Carisbrooke Castle is close to these.
