3 Reasons Why You Should Experience #PaskoSaBluewater

Holiday season here in the Philippines is quite long. It starts as early as September and ends until the last day of December. In Cebu, it stretches through the end of January because of the Sinulog festival. When we say “the holidays”, it always implies foods and  feasts everywhere.

Pasko sa Bluewater

Bluewater Resorts kicks off the holidays with its annual tree lighting event dubbed as Pasko sa Bluewater. This special event is set to honor and recognize groups and individuals who go the extra mile in helping the less fortunate. Pasko sa Bluewater officially started last November 18 and it will run until the end of December. During this period, Bluewater Resorts in Maribago, Sumilon and Panglao will feature native parols, the Balay Pasko and the Pinoy Christmas tree thus highlighting a traditional Filipino holiday.

Here are 3 Reasons Why You Should Experience #PaskoSaBluewater this year.

It’s for a cause

As the saying goes, giving is not just about making a donation, it is about making a difference. A series of benefit dinner will be launched throughout the period and part of the proceeds will go to the 12 beneficiaries in Oslob and Mactan, Cebu and Panglao, Bohol.

You’re making a difference by having a dinner, how awesome is that? (kidding)

It’s one of a kind

Pasko sa Bluewater will highlight the culinary creations of Miss Dedet dela Fuente of Pepita’s Kitchen. Most of her dishes especially the stuffed lechon will be featured on every Barrio Fiesta themed dinners on Allegro in Maribago and Aplaya in Panglao.

Most of us don’t have a single idea who Dedet dela Fuente is, right?

Dedet dela Fuente, better known to many as the “Lechon Diva” reinvented the suckling pig (lechon) by stuffing them with rice. Her mission to make Lechon a global sensation earned her awards and recognition here and abroad.

Truly one of a kind, agree? Do you know any resorts in Cebu that offers a unique and special dining experience like this? I bet none. (giggles)

It’s the holidays, go out and treat yourself

Come on, most of us are working our a$$ off throughout the year. Have a break at any Bluewater resort with your loved ones or friends. I guess we all deserve a holiday treat. And besides, when you’re in any Bluewater resorts you’re already in paradise.

Trust me, I’ve been there. (wink)
