Drift Stories Monthly Round Up: February

The love month is almost over and it’s quiet a run for us. Tied up into a couple of commitments but we are able to attain our goals for the month. Here are the highlights for February at Drift Stories.

Blogging Challenges Accepted

We had a good run in January and we wanted to keep the momentum so we decided to take on a couple of blogging challenges. #HIBS2 and #CebuWBC are among the blogging activities the Cebu Blogging Community have initiated for February.

High-Intensity Blogging

High-Intensity Blogging

Cebu Blogging Community being among the emerging blogging group in the Queen City launched the second season for their exclusive blogging program called High-Intensity Blogging. The aim of the program is to push the limits of the blogger participants. This is also a good activity for bloggers to keep their blogs up to date.

Cebu Weekly Blogging Challenge 2017

Cebu Weekly Blogging Challenge

This is also another Cebu Blogging Community driven campaign but not an exclusive program. The aim of this program is to be able to publish at least one (1) blog per week.

The Blogger Spotlight

Blogger Spotlight

This month, we have featured 2 dynamic Cebuanas. The first one was a full-blooded wanderlust and the other one is certified woman tech-maker.

Kristylle of Kris Wanders and Emelie of Emelie Empire graced February’s Blogger Spotlight.

Summer in February

Thanks to a generous sponsor, we had an early summer and valentine getaway in Camotes Island. Aside from having a very awesome weekend, I also managed to do some light stalking. I’m proud to say that I took a couple of pretty decent sunrise and sunset photos with my smartphone. Here’s some of my photos.

Not only that, we get to dine at one of Camotes Island’s jewel, Pito’s Sutokil.

Going Mobile

Going Mobile

As we advocate on mobile photography, we made a test walk for our photography project called Going Mobile last February 25 at the Carbon market in Cebu. #GoingMobile is a series of photography walk within Cebu. The emphasis of the project is street photography thru our smartphones.

The photowalk went well and the route we have chosen was a good one (article coming soon). Here are some photos during our walk.

Final Words

We did pretty well for this month I guess. Though it’s not as huge as January but still a month worth remembering.

How about you? How was your February?
