SouthWalk: Nature Facets of the Southside
Cebu City, Philippines — The best part of relieving memories are encapsulating them in a photograph. And true enough, the Queen City of the South won’t run out of places that will entice you to get that snap or be thrilled with the vastness of the azure sky and the cerulean seas.
SouthWalk: Southern Heritage (2016)
For those hobbyists that breathe and live seeing what others can’t see, the South Walk was more than a gathering, but a lifestyle. Photography enthusiasts from all walks of life are joining in this event to capture what Mother Nature has in store. Also, the whole concept of it is visiting heritage churches of Southern Cebu in the hope of basking into the history, origins and the cultural heritage that the people are upholding up to this day. This photowalk aims to also capture traces of the Spanish Conquest and its effects to the past and present society we dwell in.
Organized by the Drift Stories, this is the third time that The SouthWalk was materialized.

Would you know someone who is interested in doing a photowalk?
As a photographer, what are your expectations during the photowalk and how important is it for you to have a good companion as you take your snaps?
Hope to see you there! 🙂

I joined a photowalk to Cebu South while I was in first year college. Best church I’ve ever been into is the one in Boljoon. 🙂
Indeed.. The church in Boljoon is such a beauty. The church is having an ongoing restoration now..
I really want to join but I have something to do this march 5 🙁 I’ll do a solo walk instead mehehe
Nice itinerary. I saw the pics of some of the participants and they were awesome. I hope there will be more similar activities this summer.
I really wanted to join this when I saw it several times on my news feed but I don’t have a DSLR, I only have my phone camera </3 Saw photos from the photowalk on Facebook, too and they're all stunning!
One of the participant just used her smartphone all throughout the day.
I did enjoy this photowalk. Thank you Herbert for the opportunity! I learned a lot from the PRO! HAHAHA. Looking forward for more photowalks! 😀
