3 Reasons To Dine & Unwind at Almont City Hotel

Last updated on November 25th, 2018 at 01:15 pm

The last time I visited Butuan, I missed the chanceof staying at Almont’s City Hotel since I was booked at their city resort. I was really curious if what would the experience be staying at that old and historic city hotel.

Just a couple of weeks ago, our Huawei Sugbo team organized an event in Butuan City. To date, the event was our biggest one since we started back in August and our kick off event for 2018. We are supposed to be staying at Almont Inland Resort but the group opted to stay on the city hotel.

We stayed for a night since we headed to Surigao del Sur for a quick escapade. It was really a pleasant stay and one of the best so far in my recent Mindanao travels.

Anyway, these are the reasons why i find it good to dine and unwind at Almont City Hotel.

The ambiance is perfect

There are many emerging accommodation providers in Butuan City but nothing beats the homey feel  at Almont City Hotel especially when you are inside the premises. It’s like you are just at your own living room.

If you’re dining with friends, family or just yourself, you will always have a good time. Trust me, my friends really enjoyed their breakfast.

The food is truly great

City Café is the Almont City Hotel’s main restaurant and among the best places in Butuan to have a coffee, aside from the good food of course. The restaurant offers a wide array of local favorites and varieties of international cuisines.

I never managed to have lunch or dinner in the cafe but I had breakfast and damn it was so good. A must-try at the City Cafe is their Breakfast Cuencos.

The price is just right

You might be thinking that since Almont City Hotel is a established business their food are expensive, dont fret because all of them are within anyone’s budget range. It’s just like you’re eating on those leading food chains but with a cozy and tranquil atmosphere.

Our stay at the hote was truly worth it.

You don’t need to go far just experience something better than the usual.
