It’s 2 days to go before Christmas and for this episode of Blogger Spotlight, we are featuring a blogger who roam and dig for trending and share-worthy stories across the interwebs. If not hosting or writing for her clients, she spends most of her time eating, sleeping (according to her), and blogging of course.

With no further adieu, let’s meet the awesome lady of Pinoy Stars Daily, Babie Sarah Ladeza.

TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOURSELF AND HOW YOU GOT INTO BLOGGING?

Babie Sarah: I am Babie Sarah B. Ladeza, the girl behind Pinoy Stars Daily (previously www.pinoydaily.com). I am a girl made of steel on the outside but, cotton candy on the inside. I love to write, and I love to talk. I am currently a copywriter at GWION but during my spare time, I do hosting, Sleep, Eat, Work, Blog, Eat, and Sleep how I spend most of my days.

I started blogging way back junior high. I started with WordPress, then Weebly, then Blogger, then back to WordPress, etc. However, all of those blogs, I deserted. I thought that (maybe?) blogging is really not for me. But, when I was in college (CIT-U), a good friend of mine (Ram Mancelita), asked me to join www.sugbu.ph and my interest just sparked again. Hence, I am now in Pinoy Daily, too. So yeah, I am the girl behind Pinoy Daily and the guy behind it is, Jan Muga.

WHERE DID YOU GET THE IDEA OF YOUR BLOG’S NAME?

Babie Sarah: I actually am not the one who started Pinoy Daily. Though I like the name of the blog already. The main idea of the blog is Pinoy Entertainment. Hence, it’s like your Daily dose of Pinoy entertainment.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT BLOGGING?

Babie Sarah: Reading negative comments about my readers is what I love most. Don’t get me wrong. I just love the idea of reading negative comments for it inspires me to do better each day. It makes me want to become a better version of myself everyday.

WHAT IS THE NICHE OF YOUR BLOG AND WHY DID YOU CHOOSE IT?

Babie Sarah: Entertainment. Well, there really is nothing that would pique my interest more than showbiz / entertainment. Please, don’t judge me. LOL.

ARE YOU MONETIZING YOUR BLOG? HOW DO YOU MONETIZE YOUR BLOG’S TRAFFIC?

Babie Sarah: Uhm. Yeah? Ads.

Babie Sarah: I read Fashion Pulis everyday and I am always inspired by the idea of being able to write out of my interest. I mean, most people watch the TV everyday but, they just watch it. While I, on the other hand, watch the TV, read about it, and write about it. Makes sense? LOL. My sincerest apologies. I know am weird this way.

BESIDES BLOGGING, WHAT OTHER INTERESTS DO YOU HAVE?

Babie Sarah: I sometimes do hosting. And yes, reading.

HOW WAS YOUR BLOGGING SO FAR? HAVE YOU RECEIVED AWARDS AND RECOGNITION SINCE YOU STARTED?

Babie Sarah: Uhm…. So far, the idea of letting people know who really is behind Pinoy Daily is already a milestone. But, regarding awards and recongnitions, I am proud to say that I was one of the finalist for the Best Cebu Blog Awards 2015 : Events & Entertainment Category.

WHAT ADVICE CAN YOU GIVE TO SOMEONE WHO JUST STARTED BLOGGING

Babie Sarah: You should never hinder yourself from blogging just because someone told you that you’re not good at it.

LASTLY, WHERE DO YOU SEE YOUR BLOG IN THE NEXT FIVE YEARS?

Babie Sarah: In the next five years, I can see my blog and myself making (like really making) it to the entertainment industry.
