Just recently, Drift Stories was invited by JPark Island Resort & Waterpark to participate in a blogging contest exclusive for Cebu-based bloggers. One of the perks we got was to dine at the resort’s biggest buffet restaurant, the well-renowned The Abalone.

The Abalone

Considered as one of the best buffet restaurants in Cebu, The Abalone is a must-visit if you happen to be in the historic Resort City of Lapu-Lapu. This buffet restaurant caters to breakfast, lunch and dinner and can hold up to more than 300 guests.

The Place

I love coziness of it. What you can hear is the soothing background music and the distinct chants of the busy crews preparing every dishes. Near or far from the food stations, anywhere in the restaurant is a good dining spot.

The Food

The Abalone offers a wide array of delectable cuisines on their food stations. These stations highlights different international cuisines such as Japanese, Western and Oriental. For the sweet-tooth, jump for joy because the dessert station offers various kinds of desserts that will surely tickle your senses.

Though there are a lot of dishes to choose from, the grilling station is one of my favorite spot in the restaurant. I just can’t resist anything grilled and skewered.

The Drinks

The Abalone offers a variety of drinks that will surely quench your thirst. For the health buffs, there are wide selections of fresh juices and teas. Beers and wines are available for those who need a dose of alcohol. For the caffeine-lovers, coffee is overflowing.

The Abalone

The Abalone is a great place to satisfy your craving. It’s a bit costy but the wide selection of dishes to choose makes it worth every penny. Devour and fill your tummy to the brim because at The Abalone, it’s a feast you can’t resist.
