Most of us are living a very hectic life. Not all of us have the luxury of time to go on a long vacation. A day or two may somehow suffice but it can guarantee to give us the full satisfaction we need.

The team recently visited Gatubod Spring Resort. The resort is located in the highlands of Compostela. A 15-minute drive from the town, the resort boast its ice-cold swimming pools and cozy nature ambiance.

If you think you need to travel hours to enjoy nature, you better think twice. Although it’s kinda bumpy getting there but knowing that you’re gonna end up to a place where you can unwind and get away from the busy city life – that’s totally sweet.

HOW TO GET THERE

1. The Cebu North Bus Terminal is the best place to be if you’re heading North. You can take the regular buses or the mini buses. The fare is around P25.

You can also opt to Danao or Compostela-based PUV/PUJs. Most of this PUJs are parked in the vicinity of White Gold Club and SM City Cebu. V-Hire is another good option also. There V-Hire stations in both Ayala Center Cebu and SM City Cebu.

2. Drop by at the Compostela Market. It is located across the town’s Municipal Hall.

3. Take a Habal² or a tricycle. Resort is around 4km from the town. Don’t worry, it’s not a bumpy ride. Habal² fare is P25 head, P45-P50 if you’re travelling alone. Same thing with the tricycle, the fare is P25 but most of them prefer groups.

Most of the drivers knows the resort already so just do a little haggle with the fare especially if you’re a group.
